Split in words and photos - Sundial – Public Square
This is the view from the Public Square (popular Split Pjaca) towards the western entrance (Iron Gate) of the Palace. Above the gate there is the Romanesque tower with the city clock from the 15the century. On the square there is also the City Hall (15th c.) which today hosts the Ethnographic Museum with a rich collection of folk creativity from Dalmatia.
