Split in words and photos - Peristil – heart of the Palace |
| From this stage on Peristil, the main Palace square, the emperor Diocletian used to greet our ancestors while they cheered and glorified him. The door behind the stage takes you to Vestibul and the emperor`s apartment, and at the bottom of the photo you can see the entrance to the cellars. The other photo shows the Renaissance St. Roko`s church from the 16th century which is situated next to Peristil. |
